The International Journal of Event Management Research (IJEMR) welcomes high-quality scholarly submissions that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in event management, tourism events, sport events, cultural festivals, corporate events, and related interdisciplinary fields. All manuscripts must present original work that has not been previously published and is not under consideration elsewhere.
Submissions are evaluated through a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic integrity, quality, and relevance.
The journal considers the following categories:
Original Research Articles (6,000–8,000 words)
Review Articles (6,000–9,000 words)
Conceptual/Theoretical Papers (5,000–7,000 words)
Case Studies (4,000–6,000 words)
Research Notes / Short Communications (2,500–4,000 words)
Book Reviews (1,000–1,500 words)
Word count includes references, tables, and appendices.
Manuscripts must be written in clear academic English.
Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to seek professional language editing before submission.
Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
Use A4 page size.
Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.
Line spacing: 1.5 or double spaced.
Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
Authors should organize their manuscript in the following order:

Full names of all authors
Institutional affiliations
ORCID ID (if available)
Corresponding author’s email address
Acknowledgements (if any)
Conflict of interest statement
Title (without author details)
Abstract (150–250 words)
4–6 Keywords

Do not include any identifying author information in the main manuscript file.
Abstract must clearly summarize objectives, methodology, findings, and implications.
Provide 4–6 keywords separated by commas.
Avoid abbreviations and citations in the abstract.
IJEMR follows the APA (7th Edition) referencing style.

Authors must ensure:
All cited works appear in the reference list.
All references in the list are cited in the text.
DOI numbers are included where available.
Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively (Table 1, Figure 1, etc.).
Provide clear titles and source information (if applicable).
Figures should be high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
Indicate placement within the text (e.g., Insert Table 1 here).
Ensure permission is obtained for copyrighted material.
Authors must confirm:
The manuscript is original and not under review elsewhere.
Proper citation and acknowledgment of all sources.
Ethical approval for research involving human participants (if applicable).
Informed consent has been obtained.
Disclosure of any financial or personal conflicts of interest.
Plagiarism (including self-plagiarism) is strictly prohibited. All submissions may be screened using plagiarism detection software.
Manuscripts should be submitted via the journal’s online submission system or to the editorial email (if applicable).

The cover letter should include:
Confirmation of originality
Statement that manuscript is not under review elsewhere
Brief explanation of the contribution of the paper
Initial editorial screening (scope, format, plagiarism check)
Double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers
Editorial decision: Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject
Revised manuscripts must include a response-to-reviewers document
The average review period is approximately 6–10 weeks.
IJEMR follows internationally recognized publication ethics standards. Any evidence of misconduct, data fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, or unethical research practices will result in immediate rejection and possible notification to the author’s institution.
Upon acceptance:
Authors may be required to sign a copyright transfer or licensing agreement.
Authors retain moral rights to their work.
Open access policy (if applicable) should be reviewed on the journal website.
If applicable, publication fees or Article Processing Charges (APC) will be clearly communicated after acceptance. No submission fees are charged.
